GENERATION TEACH

Generation Teach partners with local schools to provide talented and diverse young people with transformative summer teaching experiences to inspire and prepare them to pursue careers in urban teaching. We are committed to building place-based pipelines of exemplary educators who are invested in the students, schools, and communities we serve. 

2017 Summer Teaching Fellowship 

We are recruiting talented and diverse college and college-bound students who may be considering careers in education and who are seeking to challenge themselves as learners and leaders through an immersive summer teaching experience. 

The Denver Summer Teaching Fellowship includes 2 weeks of intensive training and 5 weeks of teaching Denver middle-school students while receiving daily coaching and support. Teaching Fellows receive a $2,000 taxable scholarship for the 7-week fellowship.

The Boston Summer Teaching Fellowship includes 2 weeks of intensive training and 4 weeks of teaching Boston middle-school students while receiving daily coaching and support. Teaching Fellows receive an $1,800 taxable scholarship for the 6-week fellowship.

The Western MA (Holyoke or Springfield) Summer Teaching Fellowship includes 2 weeks of intensive training and 4 weeks of teaching middle-school students while receiving daily coaching and support. Teaching Fellows receive an $1,500 taxable scholarship for the 7-week fellowship.

Deadlines are the 6th of each month, beginning December 6. Our final deadline is May 15. Apply early; positions fill very quickly.
