Learn, Grow & Lead with Generation Teach
The year-round Generation Teach team is a close-knit group of educators and leaders joined by our common mission, vision, and values. We all work virtually during the school year, convening in the fall and spring for in-person team retreats. Our weekly virtual gatherings include 1:1 check-ins; team meetings to review our goals and progress; program team meetings focused on recruitment, selection, and program planning; team meetings led by different team members to provide professional development or discuss problems of practice; and twice-monthly sessions focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Generation Teach provides competitive benefits, including 18 annual days of individual Paid Time Off; two weeks (August & December) when our office is closed to encourage rest, relaxation, and time with family; 9 paid holidays; individual technology, professional development, and phone/internet allowances; competitive health, dental, and vision benefits; access to an FSA account; and 5% 401K matching after one year of service.
Although we are geographically far-flung (from Los Angeles to New Hampshire), we are deeply invested in learning, growing, and leading together. From our weekly Compass Check-In, where we each share victories, challenges, insights, and fun facts, to our collaborative decision-making and shared problem-solving, we value each other's unique contributions and the opportunity to participate in our shared personal and professional journeys.
If you are interested in taking your next step as an educator and leader, we invite you to apply for one of our open positions. We are currently seeking Directors of Programs for two of our cities. Please learn more below, and apply today to join the GT Family:
